Background
CBA announced in late 2018 that it will sell CBA Life Insurance business to AIA for $3.8b. This means all CommInsure assets (data, people, processes and systems) will be migrated to AIA. This is a major “de-merger” project for CBA and a large “merger” project for AIA. There will be a 20-year agreement between two parties for CBA to sell (the new) AIA Life Insurance products. This mean hundreds of integration points between two organisations.
How we helped
We led the demerger of system and processes of CBA Life Insurance, General Insurance and Loan Protection Insurance. We designed Business, Information, Integration and Security architecture for this major migration project.
